Rebecca Lansing directs the adult vocal Chancel Choir, Adult Chancel Bell Choir and the Cherub Choir, for children age four through 2nd grade . Rebecca received her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from Louisiana State University and Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from Simpson College. Rebecca is currently a member of the voice faculty at Northeast Iowa School of Music (NISOM) and director of the Platteville Children’s Choir Apprentice Singers, an auditioned ensemble made up of children from across southwest Wisconsin. An avid performer of opera, concert music, musical theater and jazz, Rebecca has performed a wide variety of leading roles and has appeared professionally as a soprano soloist for several masterworks. Before returning to Dubuque, Rebecca taught voice at Center Stage Academy for the Performing Arts and worked as a musician for St. Joseph’s Cathedral and Holy Family Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
